About the job You set the direction for Sandvik Coromant’s corporate business development and acquisitions agenda. With accountability for portfolio quality, strategic business cases, cross-functional orchestration and people leadership, you enable informed decisions and maintain continuity from early opportunity assessment through integration and value realization. Formal transaction execution and final investment decisions sit with the Deal Lead and relevant governance bodies. Job responsibilities Lead the identification, assessment and development of strategic growth opportunities, adjacent businesses, future growth arenas and new business models. Own the opportunity portfolio and Build, Buy or Partner assessments, providing clear recommendations on the most appropriate path to realization. Set the strategic direction for acquisition themes and guide their translation into actionable search fields, target profiles and investment hypotheses. Strengthen the origination pipeline and ensure that opportunities entering formal execution have a clear rationale, value thesis, business ownership and sufficient validation.
