Group Accountant needed!

About the position We at Perido are now looking for a Group Accountant for our client, an exciting and forward-thinking company in the automotive industry. The company is based in Gothenburg where this position is located. As part of the Group Accounting team, you will support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial data to internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure consistent application of accounting principles across the Group and assist with financial analysis, adjustments, and reporting processes. Your daily tasks The consultant will support the Group Accounting team with the following responsibilities: Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual group closing processes, including preparation and validation of consolidation entries Collaborate with subsidiaries and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions Perform financial analysis and prepare supporting documentation for internal and external reporting Assist in the preparation of external IFRS financial reports, including notes and disclosures for quarterly and annual filings Maintain consolidation system data and ensure consistency and accuracy across group entities Contribute to the development and documentation of group accounting policies and processes Participate in projects related to group accounting, reporting improvements, and system enhancements Coordinate with auditors and assist in delivering required audit evidence and explanation. Proactively identify and suggest improvements to group accounting procedures and
