Senior Developer (Java, AWS, DevOps)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Developer to join a global company in Gothenburg. We are looking for a DevOps developer with a strong interest in operations to join a global company in Gothenburg. They are working with connected vehicle services. This is a hands-on role where you will combine software development with cloud operations, automation, and production support. You will be part of a high-performing team responsible for developing, deploying, and operating cloud-based services used by a global automotive customer. You will work across the full lifecycle of the solution – from development and deployment to monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. What you will do: Develop and maintain backend services and supporting components in a cloud-native environment. Take an active role in operating services in production and ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and take part in incident investigation and resolution. Improve observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting. Automate operational tasks and improve deployment and operational processes. Contribute to root cause analysis and implement actions that prevent recurring incidents. Collaborate closely with developers, architects, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to continuously improve the service. Take ownership of problems end-to-end and help drive them to resolution. We are looking for a strong software developer who also enjoys getting close to the operation of the system. You don't need to be a pure operations specialist, but you should be comfortable taking responsibility and driving improvements in production.
