Customer Service Engineer
Description: The candidate will join an existing team of 9 consultants and will be responsible for the customization, installation, integration, and support of Cadence simulation and material data management software products for our Swedish and European clients. Responsibilities: Communication with clients and partners, requirements analysis, and identification of possible solutions Design and development of new features for Hexagon products Design and implementation of integrations between Hexagon products and clients’ enterprise systems Installation and configuration of Cadence products and prerequisite software Providing support, training, and technical assistance either in-house or at client locations Requirements: Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web and Multimedia Technologies and Interaction Design and Technologies Proficiency in the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python Strong knowledge of UI design and usability evaluation principles and techniques Good knowledge of scripting languages in Linux and Windows environments Good knowledge of GIT version control software Hands-on experience configuring and managing virtual machines in cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure). Basic knowledge of VMware or VirtualBox virtualization applications Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain and demonstrate software products to customers and internal stakeholders.
