System Development Specialist

The team is responsible for developing and maintaining Hitachi Energy’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES), as well as modernizing the tech stack with REST APIs, Blazor, improved access control and governance, and fully implemented CI/CD pipelines. As part of our team, you’ll contribute across infrastructure, deployment, testing, and full‑stack development, and play a key role in rebuilding a high‑impact system used daily across our manufacturing environment. How you’ll make an impact Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement software solutions Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance Develop and maintain .NET applications (desktop and web) using C# Design, build, and document RESTful Web APIs Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional stakeholders, driving initiatives end‑to‑end Support operators, factory staff, and warehouse personnel using the MES Work with Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to automation initiatives Participate in migrating the MES to a new generation tech stack, and bring ideas to shape its future evolution Your background Minimum 3 years of experience
