About the role As a Hardware Functional Safety Engineer at Coretura, you are responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and well‑structured hardware development across the full lifecycle. You enforce safety and development processes while actively driving the transformation of traditional hardware practices towards modern, code‑centric workflows. You work at the intersection of hardware engineering, quality, and process leadership. In close collaboration with internal teams and Tier 1 suppliers, you modernize how safety and development artifacts are created, managed, and delivered. This includes enabling Git‑based traceability, improving collaboration, and supporting Coretura’s Everything as Code philosophy. The role combines functional safety, process ownership, and continuous improvement, with direct influence on how hardware is developed, validated, and integrated.
