Software Engineer
Job Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer to join their engineering division in Lund, Sweden. The selected candidate will be part of a specialized software factory team responsible for developing and enhancing test frameworks, test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and analytics solutions. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing software test frameworks and automation tools within modern continuous integration and delivery environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software test frameworks and testing tools Implement and enhance automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines Contribute to the development and operation of test rigs and testing environments Develop and execute test strategies using ECU emulation and mocking techniques Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery Produce and maintain clear and structured technical documentation Analyze system requirements and propose efficient testing methodologies for large-scale systems Troubleshoot issues and drive resolution in collaboration with stakeholders Actively contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on test automation and test framework development Proven experience working within CI/CD environments Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated testing solutions Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Required Skills: Strong programming experience in Python and PyTest Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Zuul Experience with ECU testing, emulation, and mocking tools (e.g., Snok or similar, Remotive Labs ECU or equivalent) Ability to develop and execute test cases using ECU simulation techniques Proficiency in technical documentation and repor
