Job Description We are continuing to grow and are now looking for more exceptional Java/Scala developers to our client Apple. You will be permanently employed by AFRY but will have a long-term assignment with Apple. The work will be carried out at Apple’s office, where you will collaborate closely with the teams based there. Apple has designated three office days per week, during which everyone is expected to work on-site at their office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building big data services and pipelines using Scala. You will develop algorithms to match, conflate, and identify anomalies, while improving the simplicity, scalability, and efficiency of systems to handle ever-increasing volumes of data. A key part of the work is reducing turnaround times to keep data as fresh as possible. You will also be expected to propose and implement improvements, such as automation of existing processes and requirements for new functionality and solution design. This role is a great fit if you are creative in your problem-solving, fast at identifying solutions, and enjoy working in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
